I loved making this tree, using some real pieces of branches and string, turning them into a tree shape. I decided to decorate them with ivy and poinsettias using my faux glass technique. I love the glassy and transparent look about it. Hence why sheer organza was used. Free motion machining is used to create the leaves and poinsettias. It really does look festive when adding the twinkling fairy lights.
