Block Print Denim Pouch  Saturday 1st February 2025 - 10am - 4pm
 
In this class you will be block printing, stitching and sewing a denim zipped pouch
 
My son had a load of denim jeans that he no longer wore as they were past their best. He gave them to me, knowing that I would find a use for them. Whilst on holiday at my Mum’s in Cornwall, I made an embroidered bag with them, With the remnants I made these pouch/purses. It was lovely to block print and then sit and hand embroider them.
 
You will need to a sewing machine to put it all together and putting in the zip. This zip is a lot easier than regular ones so don’t worry. This is a great way of up-cycling our denim clothes.
